Dog regulations on Anglesey beaches
Anglesey has fantastic places to walk your dog. Please be mindful of wildlife and other people and keep your dog under control.
Remember that it is an offense to not clean up after your dog in a public place and you could be fined if you fail to do so.
Beaches where dogs are allowed all year around:

Cemlyn
Church Bay
Llanfaelog - Porth Nobla
Moelfre
Newry Beach
Pentraeth
Porth Eilian
Porth Trecastle
Red Wharf Bay
Rhoscolyn - Borth Wen
Rhosneigr
St. Georges Pier. Menai Bridge
Traeth Lligwy
Restriction apply:
These restrictions apply 1st May to 30th September each year.
Beaches where dogs are restricted:
Beaumaris
Benllech
Cemaes Bay
Llanddwyn (Newborough)
Llanddona
Porth Dafarch
Trearddur Bay
Walking my dog on the promenade:
At Benllech, Cemaes Bay and Trerddur Bay dogs must be kept on their leads on the promenades.
